Cause of Death
Cox and two other members of the EXPLODING HEARTS were killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 5 north of Eugene.

Biography
Cox was the lead singer for the Portland-based punk/powerpop band The Exploding Hearts, who were set to embark on a U.S. tour in September to support their critically acclaimed debut LP “Guitar Romantic”. Cox was killed in a car accident that also killed band members Matt Fitzgerald and Jeremy Gage.
