Cause of Death
Fitzgerald and two other members of the EXPLODING HEARTS were killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 5 north of Eugene.

Biography
Fitzgerald was the bassist for the Portland-based punk/powerpop band The Exploding Hearts, who were set to embark on a U.S. tour in September to support their critically acclaimed debut LP “Guitar Romantic”. Fitzgerald was killed in a car accident that also killed band members Adam Cox and Jeremy Gage.
